Overview   of Hike to Greenhalge Point

Fees: Free

Meet at Wachusett Reservoir Gate 35, intersection of Route 110 and Chace Hill Rd, Sterling. About 4 miles round trip.

Get to know the water supply that provides clean drinking water to over three million people with this Saturday morning hike. Hike is moderate along forest roads and footpaths. Wear sturdy shoes and bring water.  Note the later end time for this approximate 4-mile moderate round trip hike; we plan on returning at noon.

Dogs are not allowed on water supply protection lands.

Hike will be a slow pace and last about 3 hours. In the case of inclement weather, hike may be cancelled or modified. To check on hike status please call 774-261-1809 or email Kathryn.Parent@mass.gov.
