Overview   of Hike to Greenhalge Point 9/23/23

Fees: Free

Meet at Wachusett Reservoir Gate 35, intersection of Route 110 and Chace Hill Rd, Sterling. About 4 miles round trip.

Enjoy the scenic shoreline views on this 4-mile moderate round trip with inclines and hills. Get to know the water supply that provides clean drinking water to over three million people with this Saturday morning hike. Hike is moderate along forest roads and footpaths with scenic views of Wachusett Reservoir. Dress for the weather, wear sturdy shoes and bring water/snacks.

Dogs are not allowed on water supply protection lands.

Hike will be a slow pace and last about 3 hours. In the case of inclement weather, hike may be cancelled or modified. To check on hike status please call 774-261-1809 or email Kathryn.Parent@mass.gov.
