Overview of MA Bicycle & Pedestrian Advisory Board Public Meeting
The MA Bicycle & Pedestrian Advisory Board will be holding its fourth meeting of 2023 IN PERSON (with hybrid option) on Wednesday, July 26 from 1 to 3 PM. The meeting will take place at the Mattapoisett Fire Station - 62 County Road (Route 6) in Mattapoisett. Attendees are encouraged to carpool, bicycle or walk if possible.
Agenda items will include:
- An overview on MassDOT's bike/pedestrian projects along the Route 6 corridor
- Updates and discussion on regional initiatives from the Southeastern Regional Planning and Economic Development District (SRPEDD)
- Input sought on the new MassTrails Priority Trails Network map through the South Coast region
- Cape Cod bridges replacement – upcoming stakeholder advisory group meeting
***A post-meeting bicycle ride will also take place along the recently completed Mattapoisett Rail Trail and existing Phoenix Rail Trail for a 10 mile round-trip:*** In-person attendees are also welcome to arrive early and bring lunch.
