Public Meeting Notice Massachusetts Home Visiting Initiative listening session
Overview of Massachusetts Home Visiting Initiative listening session
Please join us for a listening session on September 17, 2020 to inform home visiting services for pregnant and parenting families in Massachusetts!
This winter the Massachusetts Department of Public Health (MDPH) will be posting a Request for Response (RFR) to continue implementing evidence-based home visiting services through the federal Maternal, Infant and Early Childhood Home Visiting (MIECHV) program (known in state as the Massachusetts Home Visiting Initiative) through contracts with community agencies.
The RFR will be a competitive procurement process for contracts starting July 1, 2021. As MDPH plans for this RFR, we are inviting people and organizations who are interested in improving family support services and the early childhood system of care to a virtual listening session on September 17, 2020 from 10 a.m.-11:30 a.m. Your feedback during the listening session will inform key concepts related to the RFR and the next five years of MIECHV services.
