Overview of Massachusetts Rehabilitation Commission Public Hearing
Proposed amendments to 107 CMR 11.00: Home Care Assistance Program
The Massachusetts Rehabilitation Commission (MRC) proposes to amend its regulations under the authority of M.G.L. c. 6 §§ 75 and 78 and pursuant to M.G.L. c. 30A. The Commission describes the substance of the proposed actions as amendments to regulations found at:
107 CMR 11.00: Home Care Assistance Program
The proposed amendments will broaden access to and the scope of services available for individuals with disabilities seeking to maintain independent living within their homes under the Home Come Assistance Program. Additionally, the proposed amendments align the regulation with current agency policies, organization composition, and consumer needs.
It is anticipated that these amendments will not go into effect before January 20, 2023. There is no fiscal impact on cities and towns.
There will be two Public Hearings.
The Virtual Public Hearing will be conducted remotely on Friday, December 16, 2022 from 10:00 a.m. to 11 a.m.
