  1. Opening requirements:  
    1. Notification and Confirmation: This meeting is being held via Zoom under a law signed by Governor Baker on July 16th, 2022 granting authority for such virtual meetings and extended by Governor Healey through March 31, 2025.
    2. Confirmation that MCB records SAB meetings, allows for local recordings and makes such recordings available to the public.
    3. Welcome to members of the public attending the meeting and instruction about Q&A period.
  2. Vote to accept minutes of the previous SAB meetings
    1. August 4, 2023 minutes
  3. Commissioner - General Update
  4. Program Updates:
    1. Review of Dashboard on Registrations, Process, and Outcomes (if relevant for this time period).
  5. New Business
  6. Advance Requests and Questions for consideration from the MCB community: 

Note: All of these will not be discussed today, but are listed for reference.

  • Would it be possible for MCB to partner with other state public service entities (senior centers, public libraries, community colleges, etc.) in order to offer local training facilities for field trainers and their MCB clients?
  • Would it be possible to combine the MCB client photo identification card with the MBTA Blind Access Card? Also, please review the procedure for obtaining and updating MCB client identification cards.
