The Executive Office of Veterans Services (EOVS) proudly hosts the second annual Military Appreciation Day on Thursday, May 21, 2026, at the Massachusetts State House in the House Chamber. This event celebrates, honors, and recognizes the sacrifices and contributions of our military community in Massachusetts.

What is Military Appreciation Day?

Military Appreciation Day allows us to express our gratitude to service members, veterans, and military families who have sacrificed significantly for our Commonwealth and country. Each State Representative and Senator can nominate a member of the military community from their district—whether an active-duty service member, veteran, or military spouse—to be honored at this special event.
