Public Meeting Notice  Newton and Weston - Bridge Replacements and Rehabilitation at I-90/I-95

Tuesday April 15, 2025 at 6 p.m.

Overview

What is happening?

Stage 1A of construction is underway to replace and rehabilitate a series of eight bridges at the I-90/I-95 interchange in Newton and Weston. The purpose of this meeting is to inform the traveling public of anticipated impacts for construction in 2025. Both meetings on 4/15 and 4/17 will provide the same information. Holding two meetings is an effort by MassDOT to accommodate everyone’s schedules as best as possible.

How will this affect you?

During the virtual meeting, MassDOT will give a brief project overview, followed by construction activities and anticipated impacts for construction in 2025, including impacts on I-90 and the MBTA Commuter Rail. There will be weekend rail diversion from May 30 – June 2 and from June 20 -- June 23 which will coincide with lane reductions on I-90. Attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions and offer comments.

This meeting is accessible to people with disabilities and those with limited English proficiency. MassDOT provides reasonable accommodations and/or language assistance free of charge upon request, as appropriate. To request accommodation or language assistance, please contact MassDOT’s Chief Diversity and Civil Rights Officer by phone (857-368-8580), TTD/TTY at (857) 266-0603, fax (857) 368-0602 or by email (MassDOT.CivilRights@dot.state.ma.us).
