Pursuant to M.G.L. c. 30A § 2 and M.G.L. c. 19A § 6, a public hearing will be held on October 27, 2022, from 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. The meeting will be conducted remotely (see meeting information below).

651 CMR 12.00: Certification Procedures and Standards for Assisted Living Residences.

The Executive Office of Elder Affairs (EOEA) seeks to amend 651 CMR 12.03(10) to require Assisted Living Residences (ALRs) to provide the EOEA and ALR residents with a notice 120 days prior to closure, an increase from the current 90-day requirement. The amendment is necessary to ensure residents have adequate time to find safe appropriate alternative housing.
