Overview

On January 31, 2023, DISH Wireless L.L.C. (“DISH”) filed its petition with the Department of Telecommunications and Cable (“Department”) for designation as an Eligible Telecommunications Carrier in Massachusetts for the limited purpose of offering wireless Lifeline service to qualified households. Subsequently, on November 17, 2025, DISH amended the petition to change the petitioner from DISH to Boost SubscriberCo L.L.C dba Gen Mobile (“Boost”). This proceeding is docketed as D.T.C. 23-1.

A public hearing will take place on the Microsoft Teams platform on Tuesday, June 23, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. to receive comments on the petition. For audio-only access to the hearing, attendees can dial-in at 857-327-9245 and enter Conference ID 323 738 035#.
