Overview

The hearing is held pursuant to M.G.L. c. 30A, § 2 to provide opportunity for public comment on proposed amendments to effectuate an FCC order requiring governmental entities to allow access to their rights of way and structures to telecommunications companies for small cell units including 5G wireless technology. The proposed regulatory action finalizes amendments that were promulgated as emergency regulations in July 2019.
