Public Hearing Notice  Public Hearing on the Petition of the State 911 Department (DTC 26-2)

Overview

On March 24, 2026, the State 911 Department ("911 Department") filed a petition with the Department of Telecommunications and Cable (“DTC”) seeking approval of its Fiscal Year 2026 expenditures and the Fiscal Year 2027 Development Grant amount. The 911 Department also requests the petition satisfy its statutory obligation to report annually to the DTC on the financial condition of the Enhanced 911 Fund and the 911 Department’s assessment of new developments affecting the enhanced 911 system. This proceeding is docketed as DTC 26-2.

A public hearing will take place on the Microsoft Teams platform on Wednesday, May 20, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. to receive comments on the petition.
