Overview of Request for Bids-Utility/ Switch Tamper

This Request for Information (RFI) is being issued by The Massachusetts Department of Transportation (MassDOT), Rail Division to potential vendors, manufacturers, and or builders for a new self-propelled utility/switch tamper. The tamper will have all specified equipment as required by the MassDOT. MassDOT reserves the right to remove any options or accessories as needed. The price for specific option or accessory will be removed from the total price. MassDOT Rail Division intends to post an additional procurement to solicit bidders for the acquisition of the self/propelled utility/switch tamper in the future.
