Overview
The Massachusetts Department of Transportation (MassDOT) is hosting an in-person Public Information Meeting on the Richmond Street Bridge Preservation Project. The project team will provide an overview of the project, including the construction schedule and traffic impacts. The meeting will feature a presentation after which attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions and provide comments about the project.

How will this affect you?
MassDOT is performing preservation work on the Richmond Street Bridge over State Route 1A Northbound in the North End neighborhood of Boston. The project is anticipated to begin in April 2025 and be substantially completed in July 2025. Construction will be completed in phases, and will require vehicular detours and parking restrictions on Richmond Street between North Street and Fulton Street. Local access will be maintained for abutters at all times.
