Overview
In the “The Positive Me” series students will participate in a variety of interactive, engaging activities that promote a positive self-image. Self-esteem is important! Having self-esteem helps all of us better understand our potential and can make us feel more confident about taking on new challenges. Examples of content for the series includes sharing activities to identify participants’ strengths, communication exercises, a “selfie” challenge to explore participants’ self-image, and advocacy training to empower participants to use their voices.
WHO: If you’re a student with a disability between 18–22, this 6‑class program is a great chance to build confidence, connect with others, and learn important skills like advocacy and boundary‑setting.
WHEN: Runs June 15 to July 1, 2026, Tuesdays & Thursdays, 10–11 AM
WHERE: On Zoom
WHAT TO EXPECT: Includes participation, pre‑assignments, and a graduation
Registration will be available soon. Check back for more information!
