Overview   of Sterling Rail Trail and Pond Loop 10/19/24

Fees: Free

Meet at Mass Central Rail Trail - Sterling Spur, 25 Gates Road, Sterling. About 3 miles round trip. 

Take in the water's edge fall foliage and enjoy all the scents and sounds the season has to offer. About a 3-mile round trip on easy terrain. Dress for the weather, wear sturdy shoes and bring water/snacks.

Dogs are not allowed on water supply protection lands.

Hike will be a slow pace and last about 1.5 hours. In the case of inclement weather, hike may be cancelled or modified. To check on hike status please call 774-261-1809 or email Kathryn.Parent@mass.gov.
