Overview   of Sterling Spur Hike 9/16/23

Fees: Free

Meet at Mass Central Rail Trail - Sterling Spur, 25 Gates Road, Sterling. About 3 miles round trip.

Step into hiking season with a slow-paced hike along the Mass Central Rail Trail-Sterling Spur and pond loop. About a 3-mile round trip on easy terrain. Dress for the weather, wear sturdy shoes and bring water/snacks.

Dogs are not allowed on water supply protection lands.

Hike will be a slow pace and last about 2 hours. In the case of inclement weather, hike may be cancelled or modified. To check on hike status please call 774-261-1809 or email Kathryn.Parent@mass.gov.
