Sponsored by Monson Veterans Services, join a day filled with fun, food, entertainment, and many outreaches. Joining the festival will be the OPRA Orchestra, pumpkin painting, bounce house, and other activities. A few of the non-profits joining will be the Vet Center, New England Adventures, American Legion Post 241, Springfield Partners, MassVCC, and many more.

The Indigenous Peoples Day Newton Ceremonial Celebration is an annual event that takes on Indigenous Peoples Day in Newton, Massachusetts. The IPD Newton planning committee organizes it, an Indigenous-led group of volunteers who reside in Newton, MA, and surrounding areas. We held the inaugural Celebration in 2021. Join us to celebrate & uplift Indigenous peoples & voices on Indigenous Peoples Day in Newton, MA.

All are welcome to this free, family-friendly, Indigenous-led, volunteer-run event to enjoy great music, check out cultural dances & presentations, support local Indigenous vendors & non-profits, & eat delicious food.
