Overview of Wachusett Watershed Guided Hike: Gate 35 to Tahanto Point 3/16/2024
Meet at Wachusett Reservoir Gate 35, intersection of Route 110 and Chace Hill Rd, Sterling. About 4 miles round trip.
This 4-mile moderate round trip with hills will loop at Tahanto Point. We will pause for wildlife watching opportunities on Eagle Island before returning.
Dress for the weather, be prepared for windy conditions near the water. Wear sturdy shoes and bring water. Bring trekking poles, ice cleats, or snowshoes depending on trail condition.
Dogs are not allowed on water supply protection lands.
