MassWildlife is hosting a series of guided walks at special habitats across the Commonwealth. Birders of all experience levels are welcome. Spots are limited, register today!

  • Whip-poor-will walk at Montague Plains WMA, Montague
    Friday, May 29, 7:15–9:15 p.m.
  • Whip-poor-will walk at Muddy Brook WMA, Hardwick
    Saturday, May 30, 7:15–9:15 p.m.
  • Birds, bees, and wildflower walk at Frances A. Crane WMA, Falmouth
    Saturday, June 27, 9–11 a.m.
  • Whip-poor-will walk at Herman Covey WMA, Belchertown
    Sunday, June 28, 7:30–9:30 p.m.

Space is limited, and registration is required. (Note: Adults 18+ must register individually.) You’ll receive an email with additional information including directions and parking a week before the event. Please dress for the weather and wear sturdy, closed toe shoes for walking on uneven ground. Bring binoculars, water, insect repellent, and a flashlight or headlamp for evening walks.
