Restoring Woodlands for Wildlife Walk

Join MassWildlife for a guided habitat walk at Frances Crane WMA in East Falmouth on Sunday, October 11, 12 – 2 p.m. Spots are limited, register today!

Join MassWildlife habitat biologists for a walk through a remarkable place that provides critical habitat for wildlife, including more than 20 species listed as endangered, threatened, or of special concern. Discover how more than a decade of successful habitat restoration has transformed the area and hear about the management activities planned there for this winter. Participants should be prepared for a ~2.5 mile walk on uneven ground. 

Space is limited, and registration is required. (Note: Adults 18+ must register individually.) You’ll receive an email with additional information including directions and parking a week before the event. Please dress for the weather and wear sturdy, closed toe shoes for walking on uneven ground. Bring binoculars, water, and insect repellent.
