The Governor’s Anti-Hunger Task Force was established on July 17, 2025 with Governor Healey’s signing of Executive Order No. 643 and is responsible for advising the Governor on the development of long-term, sustainable solutions for addressing hunger, food insecurity, and associated economic hardships impacting people, families, and communities in Massachusetts.
The Task Force is co-chaired by Allison Bovell-Ammon, Assistant Undersecretary for Children & Family Services at the Executive Office of Health and Human Services (EOHHS); Ashley Randle, Commissioner of the Massachusetts Department of Agricultural Resources (MDAR); and Alana Davidson, Director of Communications at the Massachusetts Executive Office of Education (EOE).
The Task Force is a public-private partnership, bringing together leaders from state and local government, food banks, non-profits and business leaders, as well as those who are directly impacted by federal cuts, such as SNAP recipients, farmers and small business owners.
