Apply for or renew a lead-safe renovation or deleading license through the Lead and Asbestos (LAA) system.
Please submit your application at least 30 days prior to the expiration of your current license to allow for processing.

What you need

The Department of Labor Standards (DLS) manages the Lead and Asbestos (LAA) system for lead and asbestos licensing, certification, permitting, and compliance. To access the system, register for an LAA account and choose either a Business (BUS) or Individual (IND) account.

Deleader Contractor License $575 annually
Deleader Supervisor License $150 annually
Deleader Certification‐Training Provider $1,775 annually
Deleader Duplicate License $45 annually
Deleader Worker License $50 annually
Lead‐Safe Renovator Contractor License every 5 years $375 annually
Lead‐Safe Renovator Duplicate License $45 annually
Lead‐Safe Renovator Training Provider for non-state, federally-recognized Indian Tribe, local government, or non‐profit organization) $75 (for State, federally-recognized Indian Tribe, local government, or non‐profit organization) $1,775 annually
