Overview

PLEASE NOTE: This program is not accepting applications for funding at this time.

The Commonwealth Security Trust Fund (CSTF) Grant Program is based on Massachusetts General Law, Chapter 10, Section 67. The program’s main purpose is to enhance local police and fire departments’ abilities to respond to emergencies, including responses to acts of terrorism. 

The grant program is funded through revenue received from the sale of “United We Stand” distinctive registration plates and interest earnings.

Eligibility

Only municipal police departments and municipal fire departments are eligible for funding through this program.
