What you need
- Enrollment Verification – You must provide an official statement from your college or university confirming your full-time enrollment in a secondary educational program for the upcoming Fall semester.
- Final Presentation – To successfully complete the internship, you will need to deliver a presentation on your experience at MassDOT at the end of the summer.
How to apply
- Go to the MassCareers website
- Use the search filters:
In the "Agency" filter, select MassDOT.
In the "Keyword" search box, type Internships. - Browse available internship positions and click on a listing to view details.
- Apply online by following the instructions in the job posting.

Due to the large number of applicants, applications missing any of the required documents at the time of submission will be disqualified from the internship application process.
Space is limited and the submission of an application will not guarantee placement within an internship program.
