Attorneys representing children and families involved with DCF can use the Attorney Connect portal to share information in support of their clients. This includes information about reviews of children placed in foster homes or group settings.

What you need   for Attorney Connect Portal

You need to be an attorney representing a parent or child involved with the Department of Children and Families to use the Attorney Connect portal.  DCF will automatically create accounts for some attorneys based on information provided by the Committee for Public Counsel Services.  Other accounts will be set up based on attorney request.   

If you are representing a family involved with DCF and don't have a user account, please contact Virginia Peel, DCF Senior Counsel for Special Projects, at (617) 748-2315.  Be prepared to provide:

  • Your name and contact Information - including your work email
  • Your birth month and day (e.g., 01/01)
  • Your clients' names and docket numbers

How to log in   Attorney Connect Portal

Log in to the Attorney Connect portal using the account information the Department of Children and Families provided.
