Announcement: Launch of New Online Registration Platform

We are pleased to announce the launch of our new online registration platform, the EEA ePLACE Portal. 

Beginning November 2025, all product registrations — including new applications and renewals — must be submitted and managed through the EEA ePLACE Portal. Paper applications are no longer accepted. 

Registration: The product registration renewal period runs from October 1st - December 31st. Late fees will be assessed for product renewal applications received after 12/31. New product applications, updated labels, and cancellations are accepted year round.

How to register

Apply online through the Commonwealth of Massachusetts EEA ePLACE Citizen Access Portal.

Next steps

  1. Create an Online EEA ePLACE Portal Account

  2. Prepare for Your Application

    Before starting your online application, have the following ready:

    • Have all product label file(s) that your are registering ready for upload. Please upload one file per product, with all images associated with a product contained in one file. (Ex. Do not upload separate files for the front and the back of the product- save the front and back images in one file and then upload.)
    • If you’re registering more than 100 products for a company, create a single .zip folder for all labels.
  3. Complete an Initial Application Form

    Depending on the number of products you are registering for a company, select the applicable guidance document below.

    If you need to add additional products to an existing registration, see Next Steps- Step 5. 

  4. Internal Review and Payment Process

    • Once your application has been submitted, MDAR's Feed Program will review your application.
      • Please allow several weeks for processing, as higher volumes are expected during this transition period.
    • When the review is complete, you will receive an invoice by email for all approved products.
    • After the payment is processed, you will receive a confirmation email with your list of approved products, which serves as your registration certificate.

  5. Adding Additional Products to Your Registration

    • You may add additional products to your company’s Commercial Feed and Pet Food registration.
