Overview

EOTSS is available to review technology solutions your agency may want to implement that are not currently in our standard operating environment (SOE) or available as a Service Now Catalog Item request. Use this form to submit new or significantly updated IT solutions, systems, or services for review by the Architecture Review Board (ARB). The ARB ensures alignment with enterprise architecture standards, promotes interoperability, and evaluates proposals for security, scalability, and sustainability.

When to Submit


Submit a request when proposing: 

  • New application implementations or major upgrades
  • Cloud service integrations
  • Data platform or analytics solutions
  • Identity and access management proposals
  • Infrastructure modernization proposals
  • Third-party software or vendor solutions

SLEResponsibilities/Dependencies
Fulfillment: Due to the variable nature of this request item, fulfillment time will differ on a case-to-case basis. SLE will be communicated following the finalization of customer requirements.

Customer

  • Responsible for adhering to the EOTSS Standard Rules of Engagement.
  • Responsible for submitting accurate information to EOTSS during the intake and discovery process.
  • Sharing complete requirements will ensure that accurate SLEs are provided and met.

EOTSS

  • Responsible for coordinating discovery meeting(s) with the customer.
  • Once all requirements are collected/finalized following intake and discovery, EOTSS will determine the appropriate SLE for the request and communicate to the customer.
  • Responsible for providing an overall assessment of the customer’s proposed solution from a technical architect’s point of view, including identifying the pros and cons of the solution, potential risks, how the solution will integrate into existing SOE platforms, and any recommendations the team may have.
  • Ensuring Enterprise Information Security Policies | Mass.gov are up to date.
