PACE is no longer an option for completing this training. Please download the materials to complete the training.

The training includes the following elements:

  • Definitions of Human Service Worker, Workplace and Workplace Violence
  • Importance of Human Service Worker safety education
  • Risk assessment techniques
  • De-escalation strategies
  • Connections between actions and reactions
  • Pertinent laws and regulations
  • Identification of additional resources on human worker safety

Next steps

After you have finished the training (for employees of Community Based Organizations only):

  1. Print the last page of the training, which is the Completion Verification Form. 
  2. Give the signed form to the person designated with tracking training at your organization
