- Depending on funding, HCAP may have a waitlist for eligible consumers or may establish open enrollment periods during which new referrals will be accepted.
- At all times, other comparable benefits for which the applicant may be eligible will be investigated.
- MRC Connect staff are responsible for collecting: financial documents, signed release forms, and medical documentation before making a determination of eligibility.
- Once determined eligible, MRC Connect will forward your information to MRC HCAP for assignment to a Case Manager, your Case Manager will arrange for an in-home assessment to make a recommendation for a service plan which will include the number of hours of services, and specific tasks needed.
- It can take up to 3-4 months to process an application, determine eligibility and arrange for services.
