What you need   for How to partner with the DCR First Day Hikes Program

This is an opportunity for your organization to financially support and participate in a successful public health program

· 1,200-2000 total participants annually

· The sponsorship helps pay for: staff to open 10-15 parks and guide the hikes, marketing, gifts for participants, and weather appropriate snacks

· Annual cost = $25,000

Send us an email with First Day Hikes in the subject line and include:

  • Your name, address and contract information

  • Brief biographies of you and your colleagues

  • Self-disclosure of potential conflicts of interest via posted Disclosure of Dealings with the State

  • Any questions you may have

Reviewing your submission

  • Once received, we will respond to your questions and review internally within 5 business days

  • If approved, next steps will be determined and could include:

    • Development of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for a multiyear partnership

    • Production schedule for all deliverables needed for January 1, 2018
