About
Each summer, the Research and Materials Section welcomes undergraduate students to contribute across a range of areas while gaining hands-on experience in laboratory operations, research, quality assurance, and field activities. Interns collaborate with colleagues on meaningful projects and participate in training and networking opportunities with other interns from across MassDOT.
To qualify, applicants must be enrolled full-time in an undergraduate degree program and have reliable transportation to the Research and Materials lab in Hopkinton, MA. Applicants from a range of degree programs, such as civil engineering, chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, construction management, geology, and material science will be considered.
