Features

The IT Liaison (ITL) submits and/or approves requests via ServiceNow on behalf of the Agency/Secretariat. Since many requests also have financial and/or security/access-related implications, this role ensures that internal Agency or Secretariat processes and approvals have been successfully completed before the request is fulfilled by EOTSS. 

While the ITL does not take the place of the BAR (Business Application Request) where applicable, this individual does ensure that the request has been authorized by the Agency/Secretariat. 

Best Practices: 

  • All Agencies/Secretariats are strongly encouraged to provide at least 2 designated ITLs. 
  • The decision to either centralize the role of the ITL at the Secretariat-level, or to assign ITLs for each Agency, rests solely with the Agency/Secretariat. 
  • If you are not sure if your Agencies or Secretariat has already designated ITLs, EOTSS can provide you with a list upon request. 

This request will allow you to accomplish one of the following options: 

  1. Add/Remove Users from an existing group 
  2. Create a new Group and Add Users 
  3. Remove an existing group

Please note: Internal agency IT Liaison (ITL) approval is required in order for EOTSS to process this request.
