The Details
Features
Teams Live events and Webinars are an extension of Teams meetings, enabling you to broadcast video and meeting content to a large online audience.
Teams Live events are meant for one-to-many communications where the host of the event is leading the interactions and the audience is primarily viewing the content shared by the host. Attendees can watch the live or recorded event and can interact with presenters using moderated Q & A. Teams Live Events can support a larger audience of up to 20,000 attendees.
Teams Webinars are meant for interactive communications where the host of the event wants to configure audience interaction and specify alternate presenters. Hosts can require attendees to register in advance of the meeting and access attendee engagement data. Teams Webinars can support a smaller audience of up to 1,000 attendees.
Public v. Internal:
Choosing "Public" means that both the public and internal Commonwealth users can attend (allows "anonymous" users to join). Choosing "Internal" means that only internal Commonwealth users can attend (“anonymous” users cannot join).
