Damage Repair Shops Renewal Information.
Requirements:
- Completed online application with payment of $450 application fee; major credit/debit cards and electronic check payments are accepted.
- Upload a copy of original $10,000 dollar surety Repair Shop Bond or letter of credit approved by the Director of the Division of Standards. If your bond is still in force you do not need resubmit it, but you will need a Certificate of Continuation from your insurance agency. New bonds will be required when your bonding company tells us it has been canceled. Bonds must be executed and sealed by bonding company, also, they MUST BE COMPLETED AND SIGNED.
- Upload a valid appraiser's license, the license must bear an imprint of the appraiser’s seal and the license must be active. “If you stop working with the appraiser whose appraiser’s license you have supplied to the Division at the time of your application or renewal, or if the appraiser no longer holds a valid appraiser’s license, you must notify the Division within thirty (30) days of that change and provide the Division with a valid appraiser’s license of the new appraiser with whom you will be working.”
