What you need
The Board of Examiners of Sheet Metal Workers requires all licensees to renew online through the Division of Occupational Licensure's (DOL) eLIPSE portal.
Updating your address of record: Licensees are reminded that it is their obligation to provide the Board with a current mailing address where they can reliably receive correspondence from the Board. Failure to do so may prevent your ability to receive the renewal notice and the license card.

How to renew
- The move to our new licensing system, eLIPSE, has begun for this board.
- All licensing functions for this board are now disabled in ePLACE. The new eLIPSE system is expected to be available on Monday, May 18th.

If your license has been in an expired status for 2 years or more, you may qualify for reinstatement. Please Note that a Journeyperson/Master license will require you to Retest.
