If you are a TPA, learn how to request access to Unemployment Services for Employers so you can conduct business with the Department of Unemployment Assistance on an employer’s behalf.

Unemployment Services for Employers Log in as an employer or TPA

What you need

TPAs to can request access to an Employer’s Unemployment Services account by:

  1. Submitting a power of attorney form OR
  2. Requesting access for a specific business in their account OR
  3. Asking an employer to grant access from their account

To complete the request online, you will need the EAN of the employer and a MyMassGov account to log in to Unemployment Services for Employers. 

How to request

Submit a power of attorney form 

Upload a completed power of attorney form in your Unemployment Services account. DUA will contact employers to approve the request.

Request access online
  1. Log in to Unemployment Services for Employers
  2. Select your account from the list of businesses you work with
  3. From the summary screen, select View more actions
  4. Select Request access to an employer account
  5. Follow the prompts to complete the request for access
  6. Employers need to approve the request from the Action center in their Unemployment Services account

If you are an employer

You must grant access to any requests submitted by TPAs. Log in to Unemployment Services for Employers and visit the Action center to approve requests.

You can also grant access without a request:

  1. Log in to Unemployment Services for Employers
  2. Select Additional Services
  3. Go to Access Management and select Manage third party administrator access
  4. Follow the prompts to add a TPA
