Submit a nomination for the Massachusetts Caregiver Coalition Champion Awards

The inaugural Caregiver Champion Awards recognizes employers, labor leaders, policymakers, workers, and advocates who demonstrate exceptional commitment to supporting family caregivers in the workplace.
For this year's awards, all nominations must be submitted by September 10, 2025.

What you need to know

The 2025 Massachusetts Caregiver Coalition Champion Awards recognizes employers, labor leaders, policymakers, workers, and advocates who demonstrate exceptional commitment to supporting family caregivers in the workplace.

Awards will be presented in the following categories:

  • The Employer Excellence Champion: Recognizes employers that have instituted comprehensive policies and programs to support employee caregivers in the workplace.
  • The Policy Trailblazer Champion: Honors policymakers who champion caregiver-friendly workplace practices, funding, and legislation.
  • The Advocacy All-Star Champion: Celebrates labor leaders, workers, and advocates who champion caregiver support initiatives within their organizations or industry.

Awardees will be honored at the annual MCC Summit in November and featured in MCC publications and media releases. 

Eligibility

Open to all Massachusetts-based employers, labor organizations, employees and policymakers who have demonstrated a commitment to supporting family caregivers in the workplace. Individuals at all career stages, including young professionals and those early in their careers, are encouraged to be nominated.

How to submit

To submit your nomination(s), please complete the online MCC Champion Awards Nomination Form.  

Nominations can be submitted by peers, supervisors, or through self-nomination. Applicants may provide evidence of initiatives, policies, or programs implemented to support caregivers.

Selection Criteria

Applicants will be evaluated based in the following criteria:

  • Innovation: Implementation of creative solutions to support caregivers.
  • Impact: Demonstrated positive outcomes for employee caregivers.
  • Sustainability: Long-term commitment to caregiver support.
  • Scalability: Potential for initiatives to be replicated by others.
