What you need to know for Update my Physician Profile
The Board of Registration in Medicine publishes an online profile for all Massachusetts Full Physician Licensees, available at FindMyDoctor.mass.gov.
Physicians are responsible for updating key sections of their profile, and may update this select information on their profile at any time, and are highly encouraged to do so.
This select information includes:
- Business address and contact information
- Practice specialty
- Primary work setting and hospital affiliations
- Insurance plans accepted
- Available translation services
- Honors, awards, and professional publications
How to update Update my Physician Profile
You must already have a Massachusetts Physician Full License to update your profile.
Instructions on how to update your physician profile can be found at the following video tutorial How to Update Your Profile Information. To update your profile, you must create a user account and link your account to your license. The video tutorials below (each less than 90 seconds in duration) will provide you with step-by-step instructions.
After linking your account to your license, you may update your physician profile.
- Log in to your User Account. You may also click the "Update My Profile" button at the top of this page.
- Click on "Manage My Licenses and Applications"
- On your Physician Full License card, click on "Show Details"
- Click on "Update My Profile"
- Click on "Start Application"
