106 Hale Street, Bridgewater – Redevelopment Opportunity

On September 12, 2025, the Commonwealth released a Request for Proposals (RFP) to redevelop a ±1.59-acre parcel at 106 Hale Street, Bridgewater for new housing under the Affordable Homes Act.

Details

The parcel is located in downtown Bridgewater at 106 Hale Street. It is within walking distance of the Bridgewater commuter rail station and the Bridgewater State University campus. 

Size: ±1.59 acres

Permitting: 15 units/acre allowed by right. Higher density may be allowed through underlying zoning. 

Interested parties are encouraged, but not required, to register for access to the RFP.
