State Land For Homes

The State Land For Homes initiative is expediting the availability of public land throughout the Commonwealth specifically for housing development as part of the Healey-Driscoll Administration’s multi-dimensional approach to addressing the Commonwealth’s housing needs.

The initiative is being led by the Division of Capital Asset Management and Maintenance (DCAMM), in partnership with the Executive Office of Housing and Livable Communities (HLC) acting under Executive Order 623 and Section 121 and 122 of the Affordable Homes Act. HLC has published regulations 760 CMR 77.00: Surplus Real Property to provide guidance to municipalities and developers on projects disposed under the Affordable Homes Act (AHA).
