Project Goals

  • Strengthen Multimodal Connections: Enhance the integration between different modes of transportation, including walking, cycling, bus services, and rail travel. This project aims to make it easier for everyone to reach the Taunton Commuter Rail Station, whether they are on foot, on a bike, or using public transit.
  • Improve Accessibility: Ensure that the Taunton Commuter Rail Station is accessible to all members of the community. We are committed to modernizing our highway system to support the creation of a transportation hub that serves the diverse needs of the region.
  • Promote Sustainable Transportation: By improving connectivity to the commuter rail station, we encourage the use of public transportation, thereby reducing traffic congestion and lowering carbon emissions. This project supports our broader goals of sustainability and environmental stewardship.
