Under Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), state government agencies must make their services, programs, and activities accessible to people with disabilities. 

MOD helps Commonwealth Executive Branch agencies comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and architectural accessibility regulations through:

  • Information, guidance, and training to Executive Branch ADA Coordinators and other state employees,
  • Administration of Reasonable Accommodation Capital Reserve Account (RACRA) funds to agencies who need financial assistance to meet employee reasonable accommodation requests, and
  • Free digital accessibility consulting services
