To add or delete a member(s) to a Business Entity's Producer License, you will need to utilize NIPR’s initial application. Instructions to complete the addition or deletion of members using NIPR can be found linked below. Each member added will incur a charge of $75 per member.
Massachusetts is unable to utilize NIPR’s “License Update” feature to update a DRLP at this time. Please follow the instructions listed below to add or remove a member/DRLP using NIPR’s “Initial Application”.
To add a DRLP: It is important to note, all DLRP’s are automatically considered members. To add a DRLP to a Business Entity license, you should complete the steps provided in the instruction PowerPoint linked below under “add/delete a member or add a DLRP”. When entering the information of the member you wish to add as a DRLP, you will select yes to “Is a DRLP?”. If the option to select this does not appear, continue with the submission of the new member you wish to assign as a DRLP, and send a request to producerupdate.mailbox@mass.gov asking to have the member assigned as a new DRLP.
