American Gold Star Mothers, Inc.

A national organization of mothers who have lost a son or daughter in the service of our country.

The organization participates in various memorial events around the country, and encourages any parent who has lost their child in the service of our nation's armed forces to join the support network. No one knows how you feel like another parent who has lost a child.

Who is eligible to join

• Any mother or parent who has lost a son or daughter serving in the Armed Forces of the United States.

How to join a local chapter

The state's Gold Star Mothers' chapters fall under the Department of Massachusetts and Rhode Island. To join a Gold Star Mothers chapter near you start by reaching out to one of the local chapters:
