Cambridge Courthouse Third Street

The project replaces the existing windows addresses required exterior masonry required repairs, replaces the roof and repairs the cupola and replaces the roof top air handling unit. The detention area will be reconfigured to meet the guidelines of the court system as well as provide an accessible holding cell.

Notable sustainable design features:

• The window replacement will be most impactful project component in energy savings going forward. Ventilation energy use and power usage of new Air Handling Unit will also help save energy. New roof insulation will meet new energy performance requirements.
