In this section is information on Massachusetts’ closed private occupational schools, with information on students’ records and transcripts. Please note that schools that closed prior to July 2012 were only required to hold student records for seven years; however, please check the repository list as the records may still be available.
If your school was licensed as a private occupational school (non-degree granting) within the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, please check for your institution on the Closed Schools List.
Information about students' records for closed degree-granting institutions may be located at the Massachusetts Department of Higher Education.
Information about students' records for closed hospital-based nursing programs may be located at the Department of Public Health.
Students wishing to obtain copies of any of their records that are currently available, including transcripts, enrollment agreements and ledger cards, should fill out the "Student Records Request Form" posted below and return it, along with a self-addressed and stamped envelope, to the address provided on the form:
Students wishing to allow their records that are currently available to be released to a third party, including transcripts, enrollment agreements and ledger cards should fill out the "Release of Student Records to a Third Party" posted below and return it to the DOL address provided on the form.

If your hospital-based nursing program closed, information about students' records for closed hospital-based nursing programs may be located at the Department of Public Health.
If your school was a private high school, please check with the Superintendent of Schools in the city or town in which the school was located.
