DCAMM's Office of Facilities Management and Decarbonization

Learn about the Office of Facilities Management and Decarbonization.

Betsy Isenstein, Deputy Commissioner

The Division of Capital Asset Management and Maintenance's (DCAMM's) Office of Facilities Management and Decarbonization (OFMD) provides resources to extend asset life, minimize operating costs, and maximize building efficiency at Commonwealth facilities.

OFMD’s Property Operations Unit operates, maintains, and provides technical services and security for over 6 million square feet of active state buildings and surplus property. In addition, through an Asset Stewardship model, OFMD prioritizes state agencies’ requests for critical deferred maintenance projects, develops energy projects to decrease the Commonwealth’s carbon footprint, and supports user agencies across the commonwealth with training programs and technical resources.
