DCMS Tip Sheet Volume 1 Edition 5 Timely Applications

May 20, 2019

Greetings from DCAMM Contractor Certification!

Today’s Tip Sheet Is Dedicated to the Topic of Timely Applications!

Contractor Certification has approximately 1400 Certified Contractors

Currently we have 46% of our renewal contractors submitting late applications, that’s roughly 640 contractors.

Late applications run the risk of a lapse in your certification - that means no public bidding until your valid certificate is issued.

DCAMM does not grant extensions for late applications. We do not expedite late applications.

Failure to receive a courtesy renewal notice does not excuse a late application.

Applications are due no later than three months prior to your current expiration date. If you’re not sure about when to submit your application, our new application will tell you. Log into your account and under Vendor Profile: Certifications

Applications cannot be submitted earlier than four months prior to your current expiration date.
