Your Project Evaluations Are Very Important to Us

Hi There!

DCAMM Contractor Certification has started this Did You know…Series as an outreach medium for the Commonwealth’s municipalities. We will use this method of communication to share with you information about DCAMM Contractor Certification and answer any questions that may come up.

Why Are Your Evaluations Important to Us, You Wonder?

DCAMM strives to certify the best and biggest pool of vertical construction contractors available to all of us in a variety of trades. We do that with you help, when you submit contractor evaluations at the completion of your building projects and you share your experience with other awarding authorities about that contractor’s work on your project.

For Example:

  • Workmanship?
  • Scheduling?
  • Project Management?
  • The onsite supervisory personnel?
  • Safety procedures?
  • Handling of change orders?

If the contractor did well on your project that puts the next awarding authority a little more at ease about selecting them for their project. There may be a time when a contractor isn’t performing in a satisfactory manner for whatever reason. When reviewing their ongoing performance on the project. If you see their score is below passing (80) at the midpoint of the project you can and should issue them a preliminary evaluation that will tell them where they are standing and give them the opportunity to correct any substandard work prior to the project ending. This will promote a better outcome for them and for you.
